

HELP US LAUNCH A REGIONAL HALL OF FAME!

The Founders Commission Hall of Fame (FCHoF) is an annual recognition bestowed upon exemplary people who are native to the Rockford, Illinois, region (Boone, Ogle, Stephenson or Winnebago counties). FCHoF honorees represent individuals who have made an indelible mark on the world from their career achievements in business, arts and entertainment, sports, community/public service, and beyond. Eligible to living and past legends native to the Rockford, Illinois, region, Founders Commission Hall of Fame honorees are recognized annually.
Nominations can be submitted year-round and will be collected by Founders Commission, which will determine the annual Hall of Fame ballot. After a ballot is confirmed, it will be unveiled for public vote to help determine that year's Founders Commission Hall of Fame class.
NOMINATION ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must have strong ties to the Rockford region through birth, residence, or the lasting influences of her/his impact for career achievement in business, arts and entertainment, sports, community/public service, and beyond. Nominees must have:

Made significant and enduring global contributions to her/his field(s) or specific career focus

Elevated or affirmed the status of her/his field(s) and helped expand and open new opportunities for others in society to thrive in their respective field(s)

Served as an inspiration for others through her/his actions and behaviors
-
Maintained ties to the Rockford region (with roots in Boone, Ogle, Stephenson or Winnebago counties)

Candidate nominees are judged on the above criteria and advanced to the ballot based on merit, not endorsement. There is no guarantee that a nominee will make a given year’s public FCHoF candidate ballot, but nominees will remain on the nominee list for future ballot consideration. Additional details for the inaugural FCHoF program will be unveiled soon!
